During the December 2024, Rotaract Hradec Králové, with the support of Rotary Club Hradec Králové, organized the second annual clothing donation drive to help those in need. Throughout the month, members of Rotary and Rotaract Hradec Králové generously contributed warm clothing, shoes, blankets, and other essential items, which were then donated to Diakonie Broumov to assist individuals and families facing hardship.This initiative was driven by the belief that even small acts of kindness can make a significant difference. By giving unused clothes a new purpose, we aimed not only to provide warmth but also to bring comfort and dignity to those who need it most. Thanks to the generosity of our members, a substantial amount of donations was collected, ensuring that many people would be better prepared for the winter season.The collaboration between Rotaract and Rotary Hradec Králové continues to highlight the importance of service, solidarity, and compassion in making a tangible impact on society.
On the 27th of November, Rotaract HK and ESN HK teamed up for a blood donation drive at the University Hospital in Hradec Králové. This was our second time joining forces for this event, and it was a huge success!The atmosphere was buzzing with energy as members from both organizations came together to make a difference. It was especially heartwarming to see so many first-time donors bravely stepping up to contribute.Donating blood is a simple yet powerful way to save lives. Each donation can help up to three people in need. By coming together, we made a significant impact on our community and beyond.The hospital staff were incredibly supportive, guiding us through the process and making sure everyone felt comfortable.We’re incredibly proud of everyone who took part and grateful for the support from the University Hospital in Hradec Králové. This collaboration shows the power of unity and the amazing things we can achieve together.
On September 28, members of Rotaract Hradec Králové joined forces with Nová Akropolis and Trash Hero to make a positive impact on our local environment. Together, we participated in a cleanup event around Biřička Pond, collecting litter and beautifying the area. The event brought together approximately 20 enthusiastic volunteers, united by a shared commitment to sustainability and community service. Through our joint efforts, we made a meaningful contribution to preserving the natural beauty of this beloved spot. We are proud to have taken part in this initiative and look forward to more opportunities to help our environment and community!

On the evening of April 5, 2024, Rotaract Hradec Králové participated in a captivating international event hosted by Erenköy Rotaract Club, featuring members from Rotaract Club Dublin Central and Rotaract Club Monza PHF. The virtual gathering was a vibrant mix of personal stories and a spirited Kahoot quiz, reflecting the global nature of the Rotaract community.The event provided a platform for members to present their clubs, exchange cultural insights, and reinforce the bonds of global friendship. In the heart of Prague, a remarkable event unfolded, spearheaded by the collaborative efforts of Friendship Prague and Rotaract Prague International, with an invitation extended to Rotaract Hradec Králové. This event, aptly named "Food Walk", was more than just a walk; it was a journey of kindness and support for those in need.
At the beginning of February 2024 we attended ESN welcome week at the University of Hradec Králové and we had a chance to present our activities.

At the end of September 2023 we plan to promote Rotaract Hradec Králové during the Welcome week at the University of Hradec Králové.
On September 13, 2023, Hradec Králové experienced a heartwarming and enlightening event Co mě hodí do klidku organized by the RAC HK and Prostor Pro. Slukovy sady, a beautiful park, served as the perfect backdrop for a day filled with activities and insights centered around mental health. The event, which ran from 10:00 to 18:00, drew over 1,000 participants, including numerous schools from the local community.
The 11th edition of the Tmavomodrý večer, organized by Rotary Club Hradec Králové, was a night to remember. This annual event, which raised an impressive 100,000 CZK, supported young patients at the Hemato-Oncology Department of the Children's Clinic at the Faculty Hospital in Hradec Králové (FN HK).
