Pavol Salatek briefly discribed new information from the district meeting in Betliar related to youth exchange. Also Exchange students had opportunity to meet and share their experiences.
Several weeks ago, our exchange students Elvira, Jonathan and Emma changed their host families. Emma moved to Senec, enjoys her new host sister and food. Elvira enjoys communication, communicating with Mrs Poparova in Slovak. Jonathan also speaks all in Slovak. Although the new environment is great, her new host sister could speak a little less :)
In Betliar, 32 exchange students from the Slovak part of our district met to share their best practice and experience. All students had to take test from Slovak language. Jonathan participated so called "brazilian ball", where 7 brazilian were present including Jonathan. Although everything was more spanish then brazilian (music, food...), Jonathan enjoyed it anyway. Exchange students staying in BB, ZV, Nitra, Piestany participated at the meetng in Betliar.
Heinrich introduced one of his projects, which started in 2005 and finished in 2013 - a wood/balzer ship model of the size of 1,5m length, 1,3hight and 0,6m wide. The project took over 1000hrs of work. The original ship was build in 1805.
