Tomas Osusky: Tomas Osusky had a presentation about his private and professional life. His professional career started in Datasystem company, where he had the opportunity not only to explore software development but also to see countries including CUBA. Later in the career he started working for an American Company allowing him to receive trainings and education on the American continent (New York, Arizona). Later as a sales person in IBM he met Peter Kucer and worked his career through executive member of the company’s management team IBM Global Services. Tomas worked in IBM for 15 years. After a short stay with Hollen company, Ernst and Young offered him a job as a an advisory director for Slovakia. Tomas worked on feasibility project about Digitalisation of Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Finance. The next challenge accepted by Tomas was a business unit leader Finance and member of the board in Asseco. From May 1st 2014, Tomas became a general director in Hollen, s.r.o. responsible for optimalisation and educative projects under the Hollen brand. Among many others, Tomas is also responsible for establishment of Hungarian office. In his free time, Tomas likes to play tenis, icehockey, cycling :| - a must due to his wife. Among others, Tomas still considers Rotary as his hobby and enjoys everytime with it.

On 22.9. we will drive by bus to Kellergasse Prellenkirchen for our annual sturm/burciak tasting. The bus leaves from Slovak National Museum at 18.00. This is an event with partners so please inform us ahead of time (until Sep 16) who will participate.

We would like to stick to our annual goose dinner tradition. The preliminary date is Nov 10.

Everybody is invited to alltend Oldtimer OPEN DOOR with Hollen sro……. 4^th of October 2014. PLease contact Tomas Osusky.

Oldtimer Ralley – was preliminary postponed to mid / end of August 2015, Heinrich will send a brief information about the old timer Ralley. Planned event for this October has been canceled.

Peter Klucka informed us about an event called “European week of mobility” 16-22 Sept – europsky tyzden mobility – aim of the event is to inform everyone about other means of transportation such as bicycles and such.

On august 25^th was a bicycle evening for our club members. Several members tried white bicycles our RC donated to “cyklokoalicia”. Our dear club members traveled around city and checked new bicycle paths as well as donated (sponsored) bicycle-stands also with Rotary logo.

New bicycle path between Devin and BA city will be constructed in several parts starting.

Martin and Milos reminded us about World Rotary Ski Championship starting on March 7^th, 2015. If you would like to join, please sign in.
