This time our speaker was Peter Princ who held a fantastic speech about "Buthan - the country of happiness" about his latest trip to Bhutan in March this year where he stayed for 22 days. He also showed us very impressive pictures about this country and talked about his impressions he had. Thank you again for this interesting speech Peter!
Klaus Pilz updated us regarding the exact date of the upcoming Safety Driving lessons which shall take place on 12. November 2011. As last year, ideally, there shall be 2 teams each of them with about 10 team members.
Further, Klaus informed us about the latest email from the district governor Tomas Lang who expressed that he very much appreciate the idea of the initiative of our club to eventually organize a summer event. According to Klaus, this event and its organization should be led by our club only and it shall involve the surrounding Rotary clubs, both local clubs as well as clubs abroad as for instance in Hungary, Germany or Austria. A possible venue for this event he suggested Piestany and the beginning or middle of June 2011 as a potential date. The estimated number of attendees of this event could range between 200 to 500 people. In this context, Klaus will send us an email with his initial thoughts regarding this event soon. Thanks for your efforts Klaus!
Martin Sencak, Peter Kucer and Artur Bobovnicky informed us that only recently they attended the RC Golf tournament where monetary funds in the amount of EUR 1.000 were collected. This is a great success!
Furthermore, we were informed that we received for our hypnotherapy activities a donation from Rotary Australia in the amount of almost $ 1.000. This is a great!
