Milos Kmety reminded us in a challenging presentation about the real targets and principles of Rotary.
He will send the presentation to be included into the meeting minutes.
Milos also introduced ISFR – the Rotary friendship Skiing initiative – the next skiing event will be held at Sestriere from Feb. 25 to March 3, 2012. More info: www.vialettea.it
Rüdiger informed about his leaving Slovakia to take up the post as CEO of telecom Montenegro. We wish him all the best and we will make sure, he will not forget Slovakia!
Martin Sloboda informed about the upcoming meeting with RC Geras and Höxter. He once again urged members to register for dinner on Friday evening and the goose dinner on Saturday, Ocotber 8. In the sense of Milos´ presentation we consider the event as our regular goose dinner at Modra – U Pavouka.
Heinrich von Hollen initiated “Marianka” as our regular traditional family event.
Florian Weymar invited us on December 5 for an absolutely exclusive tour of the premises of VW Slovakia – to see production of the latest models and catering included. If less than 30 people from our club register, we will also invite members other RC in BA.
Peter Klucka informed that Saša for personal reasons stopped providing Hippony therapy. We therefore support only the remaining hippony therapy project.
Klaus Pilz informed about the request of Dr. Mylonas to set up accommodation for his son during the study period in BA. Since his son is Rotarakt member, we agreed to pass the information to our Rotarakt and have them help out their fellow from Greece.
The Rotary Foundation – Nadacia Rotary will be presented on October 22 in Martin.
We hope that Bodo Hauswald can attend for our club.
