Our guest speaker this time was Mrs.Rogalska from Salon Polis, a political culture networking platform examining political culture across the four countries, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary being amongst them. We had a very fruitful discussion on politics, civil and political culture. Thank you, dear Barbara, for organizing this very informative and engaging evening!
On behalf of Klaus Pilz, I informed you about the upcoming Rotary ball 2012, to be held this time at the hotel Crown Plaza, on the 4. of February 2012. Klaus also suggested whether Tomas Osusky could again join and represent our club on the ball committee. However, due to the less than enthusiastic (:)) response from certain members, we will definitely have to follow up this issue in the next meeting at a board level, followed by our club meeting where the decision will be presented.
Finally, please keep in mind that next Monday, the 31. Of October, no club meeting will take place due to the following bank holiday.
