Experiences (miscelaneous)

  • Martin Sloboda shared information about his trip to England London and countryside
  • Peter Prince gave us a teaser about his trip to Papua New Guinea, promised separate presentation

Budget (Ivo Petrencik)

  • spending as of today: RI fee, District semiannual fee, meetings hotel, meetings outside hotel, inbounds monthly fees, bronze model 2800e, district project to support effected region in Czech repuliblic coordinated through RC Opava
  • open points to discuss during the upcoming internal topics meeting:  confirm support of Hippony, 1500e supplementary host family from 2023/2024 (Ivan Saudreau)
  • available funds is 3000e, nominated project is to support Zuzana Cascino with her project Svaljava, Ukraine. Zuzana will come to present her project as a volunteer in child orphanage home where she supports the children new borns to age 5 since 2022. Zuzana supports the children with physio-therapy on monthly basis. 
Youth Exchange 
  • Gigi will have presentation February 2025
  • in 2025/2026 at least 2students are as of today identified as outbounds, one is pending: 1) Filip Farkas (nominated by Stefan Peto), 2)Jozef Chamras (individualy through web portal of RYE Slovensko, parents accepted to host inbound, 3) third position is open, coming from the selection part that will take place in mid November 2024.
  • in 2026/2027 exchange students will be only outside of EU (to be able to deal with )
  • selection process of future outbound could be also via presentations at the school we are placing the inbounds

Other

  • increase the participation rate: lets discuss each one of our expectations, reconsider / discuss to implement minimum participate rate per year
  • long term missing Martin Pitonak, 2H of 2024 not paid membership fee
