Přednáška

Ruediger has made presentation on the merger of Tcom and Tmobile in Slovakia. He talked about Principles, approaches and the way how to find compromises. He introduced a new term : the „banana“ issue as a one of the difficult and forgotten issue. The BCG has been used to help design the whole process. Reasons behind the merge: deliver all services seamlessly on your pc, your mobile, your TV and your car. Discussion was rich and touched many areas related to the merger.

Program

Info about Rotary Ball: idea is to make it in Kempinski in an austrian way of ball. There is an attemt to bring Helena Vondrackova as a main star aside of other Slovak stars as Miro Zbirka and Sisa Sklovska. The budget is estimated at the level of 42.000 EUR. Peter will inform next meeting about more details. The Rotaract shall be invited for the ball, too. After the meeting with other two clubs we have to make our commitment (presonalized) on participation. After the final negotiations – during next week´s meeting we have to make this commitment.

Roman has represented the club during the week on Exchange student meeting in Kromeriz

Michael Kern asked for one year leave due to his new assignment in Poland starting on New Year.

President has reminded the need for nominations for president elect – Rotarian year 2012-2013. They must be sent to members of the board not later than Sunday, December 5th.

On 13 there is a visit of church in Marianka with after event refreshment. Those who wish to come pls let it know to Martin Sloboda.
