Below see the short summary of the 4Days event Prague 2024 hosted by Rotary Club Prague International hoping that you will be part of its 2025 edition!!!
RCPI and especially its cycling section were thrilled to host 101 Rotarian cyclists from all over the world for 4 Days of cycling and Rotary friendship. The 2024 was the 33rd edition of the 4 Days cycling event taking place for the first time in the state capital Prague and in the former 'iron wall' country. Due to this fact and probably also due to the most horrible weather one could imagine for cycling - this edition has been called legendary...
Legendary also because of a wonderful cooperation of participants esp. those who took part in so called Epic rides to Prague from Austria, Germany and Poland contributing largely to the outcome of charity donations in following forms: Austrians collecting USD 100.000 (to be tripled by Gates foundation) to combat polio, Germans riding to support delivery of Buffalo bikes to Africa (100 in total to be complemented by 100 pieces from RCPI) and last but not least - RCPI contributing CZK 200.000 for tree planting to Nadace Partnerstvi.
Partner programme managed to accomplish the most of Prague highlights - Prague Castle and the Old Town the first day, tour in Jewish Quarter next day and due to the horrible weather - pouring rain - there was a lecture in the hotel and a visit to the Centre of Contemporary Art in DOX.
We are all looking forward to 2025 4Days taking part in Cereste-en-Luberon from May 28th - June 1st 2025.
