During the December 2024, Rotaract Hradec Králové, with the support of Rotary Club Hradec Králové, organized the second annual clothing donation drive to help those in need. Throughout the month, members of Rotary and Rotaract Hradec Králové generously contributed warm clothing, shoes, blankets, and other essential items, which were then donated to Diakonie Broumov to assist individuals and families facing hardship.This initiative was driven by the belief that even small acts of kindness can make a significant difference. By giving unused clothes a new purpose, we aimed not only to provide warmth but also to bring comfort and dignity to those who need it most. Thanks to the generosity of our members, a substantial amount of donations was collected, ensuring that many people would be better prepared for the winter season.The collaboration between Rotaract and Rotary Hradec Králové continues to highlight the importance of service, solidarity, and compassion in making a tangible impact on society.

On December 15, 2024, Rotaract Hradec Králové hosted an engaging international call, bringing together Rotaractors from different parts of the world. The event connected members from Rotaract Club Erenköy, Rotaract Club Yerevan, Rotaract Club Dublin Central, Rotaract Club Monza PHF, and Rotaract Club Lekki Phase 1, creating a space for international networking and knowledge exchange.The evening started with participant introductions, allowing members to share insights about their clubs and personal experiences. This was followed by Pecha Kucha presentations, where each club showcased their activities, projects, and impact in a fast-paced, visual format. The event continued with Speedrotaracting, giving members the chance to meet and connect in short, interactive rounds. Finally, the Rotaract & Rotary quiz wrapped up the session, providing an entertaining and educational challenge for all participants.The success of this event highlights the power of international Rotaract connections, fostering new friendships, exchanging best practices, and strengthening collaboration between clubs. On the 27th of November, Rotaract HK and ESN HK teamed up for a blood donation drive at the University Hospital in Hradec Králové. This was our second time joining forces for this event, and it was a huge success!The atmosphere was buzzing with energy as members from both organizations came together to make a difference. It was especially heartwarming to see so many first-time donors bravely stepping up to contribute.Donating blood is a simple yet powerful way to save lives. Each donation can help up to three people in need. By coming together, we made a significant impact on our community and beyond.The hospital staff were incredibly supportive, guiding us through the process and making sure everyone felt comfortable.We’re incredibly proud of everyone who took part and grateful for the support from the University Hospital in Hradec Králové. This collaboration shows the power of unity and the amazing things we can achieve together.
The recent Rotaract conference held between 15th and 15th of November was a blast! Young leaders came together, full of energy and a shared vision for the future. The event was all about collaboration and planning for what's next, truly capturing the Rotaract spirit.
On September 28, members of Rotaract Hradec Králové joined forces with Nová Akropolis and Trash Hero to make a positive impact on our local environment. Together, we participated in a cleanup event around Biřička Pond, collecting litter and beautifying the area. The event brought together approximately 20 enthusiastic volunteers, united by a shared commitment to sustainability and community service. Through our joint efforts, we made a meaningful contribution to preserving the natural beauty of this beloved spot. We are proud to have taken part in this initiative and look forward to more opportunities to help our environment and community!

On the sunny morning of May 11th, 2024, members of Rotaract Hradec Králové, along with friends from Rotary Prague International, Disaster Aid Europe, and Rotaract Prague International, took to the waters of Žluté lázně in Prague to compete in the 14th edition of the Rotary Dragon Boat Charity Challenge.

United by a commitment to sustainability and community welfare, volunteers gathered for a rewarding day of waste collection and camaraderie.
