On May 1st 2022, our volunteers joined forces with Nová Akropolis Hradec Králové, Uklidíme Česko and Trash Hero Hradec Králové for an Earth Day project: to clean up the Biricka lake after the festivities of the Burning of the Witch festival.
In total, we collected 28 bags of waste (111kg, being 52 of mixed waste, 4kg of metal, 18kg of plastic, and 37kg of glass!)
After the clean up, Nová Akropolis invited all volunteers for a BBQ at the lake, where we joined all together good music, food and people. It was a great opportunity to do good and network.
