Urmas Kaarlep: Urmas did a presentation of Estonia Business Climate The presentation was started with an impressive video about Estonia Comparisons of Estonia and Slovakia, Estonia business environment better in business, ratings the same, gdp higher in slovakia, but estonia slowly cathing up, lower inflation in slovakia, estonia better in IT, easy business start, e-elections since 2005, low corruption, Tax system- tax 21 %

Program

We discussed the Rotary Garden Party as suggested and prepared by Rotaract and presented by Daniel Mayer.

Daniel Mayer of Rotaract presented us the budget and options for the Garden Party. The breakeven is 150 participants. There are three options – Design Factory Gala 10500 EUR, Design Factory Simple 8500 EUR, Vodarenske muzeum 9200 EUR. The date suggested was 17 May. After much discussion we suggested to examine the possibility of joining this event with our planned Rotary Veteran Event in early October. The party could take place in Devin, where the rally finished. It seems that it could be a good attraction.

Martin presented the final version of the program for a meeting with RC Coburg in Vienna on April 24-27. Klaus was kind to prepare a great program a we hope for a good attendance.
