Our guest speaker was Mr. Vladimir Vano, the chief economy analyst of Volksbank Slovensko. Mr. Vano held a speech on the topic "Slovakia, Euro zone, & beyond - Evidence of experience from the first two years in the Club". We discussed the benefits from the Euro Adoption in 2009, in particular in comparison with the neighbouring countries which have not adopted the Euro yet. He also mentioned the importance of the US Economy and Market Outlook as an important indicator also for the Slovak Economy. There was an interesting and vital discussion that followed the speech.
