Program
- Speech of Peter Klucka about his recent trip to Himalaya – Peter showed us several nice pictures and explained in detail his trip to the Himalaya
- The club discussed again the further strategy regarding members that are not attending our club meetings for several reasons (long-term professional duties abroad, etc) – follow up to be provided
- We further discussed in the club the program for the next meetings. The following speeches are already fixed in the program:
o prof. JUDr. Marek Števček, rector of the Comenius university Bratislava (25.2)
o Martin Sloboda on the current status of the club´s flagship project – the 3D Bronze Model project (25.2)
o JUDr. Karol Siska, chairman of the arbitration court of the Slovak Bar Association (11.3).
o Peter Klucka suggested to have another speech on the Metropolitan institute Bratislava as well as on the developments regarding the tramway project Petrzalka (date to be fixed)
o We have not yet received feedback from Bozena whether we as a club can make a site visit to look at her hipony therapy project on Saturday in April or May (instead of a Monday meeting) – Tomas Osusky will provide feedback
- The president is preparing the documentation for suggesting a nominee for the PHF award, to be submitted by the end of February 2019 (a pre-condition for this is that the club has no open debts) to the district
- Just a short reminder for those who are concerned – Rotary PETS conference will be 15. - 16. 3. 2019 in Olomouc and the Rotary district conference in May will be in Prague.
