Program

During our regular Rotary meeting on November 14th, we hosted Radovan Šalitroš, founder of non-profit organisation Digital League o.z. (https://digitalleague.sk/o_nas). He presented project of Interactive application for childrens wth CVI (cerberal vision impairement). This unique digital tool can help thousends of children in Slovakia to stimulate and improve their ability to recognize objects and see better. Presentation is attached. Digital League is looking for co-sponsors of this project and asked RCBD for co-financing.

Miscellaneous:

- Milos Kmety has informed us on upcoming Italy Ski week 2023, which is taking place in Roccaraso, Ambruzzo, Italy from January 28 to February 2, 2023; more info ISFR.eu

- Ivan Saudreau has informed us on 3 our candidates for Youth Exchange next year; we had also discussion on ongoing changes in organisation of YE in our district and framework for new YE organisation besides Ustav vymeny mladeze.

- Martin Sloboda has informed us on preparation of visit of our friends from Rotary Coburg planned for next summer in Tatras

- we have discussed closer cooperation RCBD and Rotaract Bratislava on our projects

Tasks

- Report program until Christmas to Martin Paulik (Martin Sloboda)

- Decide on Digital League CVI project support

- Prepare answer to letter from Rotary Coburg from June 2022 (Ivo)

- Prepare official statement on RCBD bank account for YE (Ivo and Milos for Ivan)

- Registration of RCBD for 2% of tax for next year (Gerta, Ivo, Stefan until December 15th)
