RC Bratislava Danube - youth@STEM4SF ....science for sustainable future (10. 7. 2023, 18:15)

we were pleased to host Barbora Bruant Gulejova, PhD from Rotary Club Geneva International who will provide us insights about the project Youth@STEM4SF.

 

Purpose of the project is to inspire young talents in Slovakia, especially girls for technical carriers through promoting science at schools in context with real life. Long term goal of the project is to gain strategic data and inspire change in the high school system to promote science.

 

Barbora is a physicist (expertise: thermonuclear fusion) and Rotarian (member of the Rotary club Geneva International) who works in CERN in the field of education. Barbora among other things coordinated economic cooperation between Slovak Republic and CERN (on the industry and educational level).

 

During her visit in Slovakia during July 10th/11th , Barbora is meeting several partners for potential cooperation to promote the project and find supporting partners. She is very keen to speak about this project to us as well.
