On Saturday, April 5th 2025, members of Rotaract Hradec Králové attended the Disaster Ready Workshop in Prague, organized by Disaster Aid Europe. The event took place at the University of Chemistry and Technology’s Faculty of Economics and Management, and brought together around 20 participants from several countries, all eager to learn how to support their communities during emergencies.
The entire workshop was conducted in English and focused on practical disaster response training, emergency preparedness essentials, and team-based real-life scenarios. Participants had the chance to engage in hands-on simulations, enhance their skills, and learn how to react quickly and effectively in crisis situations.
The event also provided an excellent opportunity to connect with like-minded changemakers from different parts of the world. It highlighted the importance of being ready to help — not just with knowledge, but also with teamwork and leadership.
All participants received a certificate of participation, marking their new step towards becoming better prepared and more resilient individuals.
