On September 30, 2021, the Red Church in Brno became the stage for an unforgettable Charity Concert featuring the famous Czech Boys Choir BONI PUERI and the exceptionally talented opera singer Andrea Kalivodova. Our Rotaract Club Hradec Kralove was cooperated with Rotary Club Hradec Kralove and Rotary Club Brno City, Rotary Club Valtice - Břeclav and Inner Wheel Morava. Our Rotaract Club also cooperated with Rotaract Club Brno.
The event was organized with a noble cause in mind, as all donations from generous sponsors were dedicated entirely to supporting DIAKONIA Betlem, which provide social services to people with severe disabilities. The concert aimed to raise funds for the much-needed refurbishment of Odstrčilova Villa, a new building destined to provide essential relief services to individuals with disabilities and seniors.
The evening was a delightful celebration of classical music, showcasing the timeless works of great composers such as A. Dvořák, B. Smetana, and G. F. Handel. Additionally, the audience was treated to a selection of musical excerpts, adding a touch of theatrical charm to the musical experience. The harmony of the vocal performances by BONI PUERI, complemented by Andrea Kalivodova's masterful sing artistry, resonated within the historical walls of the Red Church, creating a heartwarming atmosphere of unity and compassion. With the combined efforts of sponsors and concert attendees, the event's success ensured a brighter future for the beneficiaries of DIAKONIA Betlem, uplifting the lives of those in need with the power of music and generosity.
