The 10th jubilee edition of the show of young talents of the Southern Pohronie region, which since the inception of this unique event has been prepared by the Rotary Club of Levice in cooperation with the Levice Primary Art School (ZUŠ) of Pál Kadosu and under the patronage of the Mayor of Levice, was held on Friday, May 3, in the premises of the Levice Synagogue.

DG Katarína Čechová, ADG Ladislav Gáll, PDG Jozefa Poláková and Martin Bátovský, Head of the Department of Education and Training of the City of Levice, took part in the bravura parade of young musical artists. During the May shows, more than two hundred young talents have presented their artistic view of the world to the Levice audience over the last ten years, so the series of these annual events can safely be described as more than successful.

The growing trend of the quality and popularity of the show was confirmed by the tenth anniversary concert, which featured 19 talented musicians from the elementary schools in Levice, Želiezovce, Šahy, Vráble and Bernolákovo. A great merit in this are the teachers of these schools and parents who create a background for the young artists for their development.

At the end, DG Katarína Čechová presented Bibiana Berkešiová from the Rotary Club of Levice with an important Rotary award, the Tomáš J. Baťa Award.
